Scholarship Funding

The Yukon Law Foundation manages a fund for scholarships that is made available for law or law-related studies. Disbursement of scholarships will be dependent on the applications received.

The criteria are as follows:

  • Academic achievement,
  • Residency,
  • Community involvement, and
  • Financial need.

All scholarship recipients will be required to sign a Return and Repayment Agreement (Letter of Understanding). This agreement requires students who do not return to the Yukon to work for at least a two-year period to repay the scholarship money issued to them.

THE DEADLINE FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS IS 3:00 P.M. ON AUGUST 31. SIX HARD COPIES PLUS ORIGINAL ARE TO BE RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED DURING THE CURRENT SCHOLARSHIP SESSION. AN ELECTRONIC COPY BY EMAIL IS ALSO APPRECIATED.
